We need your support to fight for the enactment of federal anti-SLAPP legislation. Almost half of the states are without anti-SLAPP laws, and those that do, have laws of varying strength and breadth. This patchwork of state laws leads to “forum shopping” by plaintiffs, who can file their lawsuits in a jurisdiction where an anti-SLAPP statute is either absent or weak. The Public Participation Project is working hard to help enact federal anti-SLAPP legislation to protect all Americans at the state and federal level, but we need your help.
